Released from the notorious orbiting prison, Bleak Penance, Torsta Jai returns to the Free Republic’s great metropolis where she was once Chief of Police. But in a civilisation where reputation is everything, starting again won’t be easy. The violent crime she committed has erased the store of honour she accumulated as a war hero. To regain it, she’ll be forced to participate in the political games of the establishment she despises. She’ll have to turn to violence once again, to track and hunt the feral species that plagues the city’s Derelict Zone. She’ll have to kill humans.
